An internationally important wetland on your doorstep

Paul Breslin, Higher Officer – Natural England, will be giving a talk on the Tatton Meres, Knutsford.
This is a nationally protected Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and an internationally important wetland site designated under the Ramsar convention. Paul will talk about the history and formation of the site, the designations and what they mean, the changing aquatic ecology, eutrophication, and the work being done on lake restoration.
