Jeanette Maddy will talk about the ways in which fungi present us with colour, how that colour can be useful to them and to us and about some research directions around fungal pigments. Depending on what fungi are available at the time there may be an opportunity to include some live, illustrative, examples.

Jeanette is the Chair of North West Fungus Group and an Associate Tutor with the Field Studies Council and Manchester Metropolitan University.
