Keith Sheard, Head Brewer at Joseph Holts Brewery, will join us to discuss how a brewer decides what he would like his beer to taste like, and how he goes about achieving that objective. Although having tested a myriad brands of the species, I personally know very little of the technology which creates it. It will be interesting to see how an ancient technology, designed to defend against poisonous water sources, has developed to provide the very popular beverage of today.
